🌞 Sun Prairie High School 🌾

Summary

As we wrap up the 2024-2025 school year, it is exciting to look forward to the Fall of 2026 and the opening of Sun Prairie High School. We remain on track to open in Fall of 2026.

This upcoming fall will be a busy time for our school. We expect to select our school location and begin to secure commitments from families for the 2026-2027 school year.

Our next meeting is Sunday June 8th, 10 am at the Lawrence Public Library, downstairs. If you are curious about our progress or want to join the efforts, please just show up.

We welcome all levels of involvement. Our big projects continue to be fundraising, faculty search, location search, and more.

We would love to hear from you, you can reach out at admin@sunprairiehighschool.org or follow us at SunPrairieHighSchool.com.

FAQ of the Month

Q: Will Sun Prairie High School offer scholarships or financial assistance?

A: As a new high school, it is important that we both build a strong, welcoming community and create policies that are financially stable and sustainable.

We anticipate a need-based financial assistance program that is similar to processes used at other Waldorf Schools where families with demonstrated financial need still contribute but at a lower rate.

As we get closer to an official enrollment process, we will provide more details.

Stay in Touch & Get Involved

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans. That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.
