🌞 Sun Prairie High School 🌾

Summary

We are busy planning for the Fall of 2026 and the opening of Sun Prairie High School! We remain on track to open in Fall of 2026.

Sun Prairie in the News:  We are excited and grateful for the recent Lawrence Times Article covering Sun Prairie High School.

Our Location: Sun Prairie High School will be located within the Lawrence Arts Center for the 2026-2027 school year. This location puts us in the heart of Lawrence and allows us to partner with the Lawrence Arts Center on arts-based classes for our students. We are excited for this partnership!

Enrollment: We recently hosted an information and pre-enrollment meeting. For those that were not able to attend here is the pre-enrollment form. Fill it and send it back to admin@sunprairiehighschool.org . When received, one of our enrollment committee members will reach out to you.

We understand that choosing the right high school is a big decision for students and families. We encourage students to begin the Sun Prairie application process if they have any interest. For the 2026-2027 school year, we are waiving the application fee and will work closely with families to discern if Sun Prairie is the right fit.

Sports and Activities: The Kansas State High School Activities Association allows students to participate in athletics and activities in their public high school district. To help facilitate this with our students, we have a step by step guide on how to navigate the process. Click here to find out more

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans. That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.
